Tasting notes: Packs a hefty sweetness of raw sugar notes, complimented by subtle grace notes and balancing out the bittersweet chocolate. Toasted almonds and light brown sugar outline the fragrance from the dry grounds. Adding hot water brings up a concoction of raw sugary sweetness and a hint of chocolate dipped raisin. This a moderately sweet cup in the light and middle roasts, with a mild, but brisk acidity, and lemon-citric hint. Subtle flavor components of minimally refined sugars, along with roasted almond in aroma, lay out a nice base coffee flavor. An overall pleasant interplay of bittering and sweet flavors bringing creamy nut tones long into the aftertaste.
